Aspire Community Benefit Society supports people with learning disabilities to have better lives through the provision of high-quality, person-centred, care and support services.
Our purpose is to enhance the quality of the lives of the people we support by empowering them to be as independent as possible. Citizenship is at the heart of our organisation.
We support people to make the most of their strengths and to take an active part in the communities in which they live. We want the people we support to lead fulfilling lives and to ensure they are safeguarded from avoidable harm.
Every Monday there will be a new theme and we want you to take photographs related to the theme. You can share your photographs with us on Facebook or Instagram. Whichever you use, don’t forget to include the hashtag #aspirephoto.
We’ll announce the winners and they will get to choose the theme for the following week’s challenge.
This week’s theme is FOOD.
Throughout October we’re asking you to post your Halloween photographs to the local Facebook groups. Tim, Caroline and Ailsa are looking for the Best Pumpkin and Best Dressed Zombie. They’ll repost their favourite photos to the official Aspire Facebook page and the winners will be announced today.
There’ll be certificates for everyone who takes part, so dig out those costumes and get going!!

This is a chance to catch up with friends from across Aspire. Ailsa, Caroline and Tim will also bring you news from the services and about upcoming diary dates, so why not join them?
Before you join the meeting for the first time you will need to get a Meeting ID number and passcode from any of the Involvement Co-ordinators. Once you have the details, keep hold of them, and use them every time you want to join in.

For people in our East community bases (Naburn, Richmond Hill and Tech North), join John and Marc from Bright Sparks Theatre Company in their weekly drama session on Zoom.
Join our fabulous DJ, Nigel ‘Cally’ Callaghan, for an afternoon party with music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.
You can take part every Friday on the Aspire CBS Facebook page between 1:30 and 2:30pm. Try to be prompt so you don’t miss the show!
