Zombie Walk
Get your monster, zombie or Halloween costumes on and take a walk. Not only will you be a spooktacular sight in your local community or service, but you’ll be getting some exercise too! We want you to post your photographs to any of the Aspire Facebook groups or pages. Don’t forget to also let us know (in your Facebook post) how many miles or steps you did.
HALLOWEEN WEEK
It’s the week of Halloween!! We’ve got some special events lined up for you together with a Halloween theme to many of our regular events. See the calendar for more details.
Throughout October we’re asking you to post your Halloween photographs to your local Facebook groups or the official Aspire Facebook Page. Our Involvement Coordinators, Tim, Caroline and Ailsa will be looking for the Best Pumpkin and Best Dressed Zombie.
The winners will be announced on Friday, 29th October on Facebook during Becci Barker’s Halloween Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo and there’ll be certificates for everyone who takes part.
So dig out those costumes and get painting, preening and posting!!
Sports Round-Up
Do you love sport? Then why not join Ian on Mondays for the Sports Round-Up on Zoom? You’ll be able to talk about your favourite teams and there’ll be sports news, predictions and maybe even a sports quiz … all with a Halloween twist.
Contact anyone at Hillside for a Meeting ID number and passcode or look at the Aspire Friendship Group on Facebook. Once you have the details, keep hold of them and use them every time you want to join in.
SSE Quiz
This weekly live quiz is open to people who attend any of our SSE services. Debbie Butcher is your quiz master. Why not test how good your knowledge is?
To join in the session on Facebook, speak to a member of staff or your local Involvement Coordinator, Tim Snell, who will let you know the details.
If you are not from one of our SSE services, you can still join in the fun. Click the links below to download the questions and answers sheets from this week’s Halloween-themed quiz:
