  • Aspire’s very own Jack Homer is announced as Care Newcomer of the Year at the Great British Care Awards 2018

  • Welfare benefits information session for family carers with Chapeltown CAB, carer awareness training for staff and our annual Family Carer Satisfaction survey is underway

  • Your news featuring fun at the Valentine’s Day Fair, Philip swimming with sharks, the Gardening Works group keeping the Meanwood Valley Trail passable, activities over the winter months at the west community bases, Philip’s broken leg and Wyatt and David who had an exciting tour of Leeds train station and looked around a Virgin train cab

  • Well done to Sally who has raised money for McMillan Cancer, our Hillside Community Base who have raised money for Oggles Hedgehog Rescue Centre and Kate Henshall who is running from Leeds to Paris to raise money for Aspire and Yorkshire Cancer Care

  • A huge thank you to staff who went to extraordinary efforts during the snow days to ensure that people had the support they needed every day during the recent bad weather

  • A report and photographs from our Cultural diversity day

  • Outline programme of events planned for Leeds Learning Disability Week 2018
